Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
The short version
- No tracking. This site has no analytics, no adverts and no tracking cookies of its own.
- Some services do see your data. The fonts and embedded YouTube videos come from other companies, which receive some data when you use them.
- Emailing me? I only use your email address and message to reply to you.
1. Who I am
phoe.audio is run by phoe, a sound designer and composer based in the UK. I'm responsible for the personal data described here. You can contact me about anything in this policy at phoe.audio@gmail.com.
2. When you visit the site
Server logs. Like most websites, the server that hosts this site automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and which pages were requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and is kept for as long as the host's standard logs are kept.
Fonts. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
Embedded videos. Some videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may collect data and set cookies once you play one of these videos. See Google's privacy policy.
I don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
3. When you email me
If you email me, I'll have your email address and whatever you include in your message. I use this only to reply and help you, and keep it for as long as the conversation needs. My email is hosted by Google (Gmail).
4. Where your data goes
I don't sell your data, or share it with anyone except the services above. Some of them may process data outside the UK, using their own legal safeguards for doing so.
5. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data I hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data
- Stop using your data in certain ways
Email phoe.audio@gmail.com to make a request. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
6. Changes
If anything changes, for example if I add a shop, a mailing list or analytics, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
